Clean Walking: Zamudio, Monte Arroletza, Derio (Bilbao, Spain)

Ecological Volunteering

During the last three months, the volunteers of Limpiar Paseando, with the aim of conserving and cleaning mountains and forests of cans, plastics and other waste, visited the following places:

In April: coinciding with World Earth Day, they walked a stretch of the Camino de Santiago in the direction of Zamudio.
In May: they climbed Mount Arroletza.
In June: they took the funicular railway to Artxanda to head towards Derio.

This activity highlights the importance of caring for the Earth, a way of discovering one’s link and belonging to Nature. And it is also an opportunity to observe others working in harmony for a better world.

With this stimulating lesson, New Acropolis will continue to promote collective actions to keep the environment clean, beautiful and clean.

We look forward to seeing you on future walks!
