Conference: Caral a journey through 5000 years of history (Lima-Headquarters, Peru)
In collaboration with the Peruvian Ministry of Culture, New Acropolis Peru volunteers carried out various activities to promote knowledge of the Caral civilisation and the protection of its archaeological legacy, as part of the national strategy Defenders of Cultural Heritage.
To disseminate this heritage, a social media campaign with educational content, exhibitions for schoolchildren, a guided tour of the Caral archaeological complex, conferences with the participation of various specialists and artistic activities that evoked the mystical character of this civilisation were carried out.
Caral is considered the oldest civilisation on the American continent and is a World Heritage Site with a legacy that ranges from monumental architecture to scientific and technological knowledge.
