A group of members from the New Acropolis Bucharest organized a socio-humanitarian and ecological action at Sălcioara Secondary School, Ialomița county. The acropolitans presented a theatre play on the theme “The Crying Caterpillar”, from which the little ones learned that only by overcoming obstacles they can grow and gain wings to fly. The children were then awarded with sweets for the birdhouses they had worked so hard to make. The birdhouses were placed in the trees in the schoolyard, where trees, flowers and strawberries were planted, and after work we finished our activity with games and dances under the blossoming trees.
