In Search of Happiness through Different Schools of Philosophy (Castellón, Spain)
It seems that nowadays, happiness is a subject of great concern to human beings. No: in fact, it has always been one of the great objectives of people of all times and places. With this idea in mind, New Acropolis Castellón hosted, as part of the celebrations in honor of World Philosophy Day, a talk-colloquium on happiness.
The talk presented the points of view on happiness espoused by the Stoic, Skeptic and Epicurean schools, combined with the contributions of the attendees themselves in a lively colloquium, and seasoned with phrases and reflections from other more modern authors.
