On a beautiful sunny day in June, volunteers at New Acropolis Chicago hosted a presentation on the topic of Why Beauty Matters, as part of International Arts Day.
Participants reflected on the need for beauty in life, the impact of ugliness, and experienced expressions of beauty through artistic presentations of music, poetry and visual examples.
