In the San Nicolas Children’s Village in the district of Yanacancha, province of Pasco, the second session of our national volunteer project “I love reading” took place.

With the purpose of promoting a joy for the process of reading and understanding in the residents of this village, New Acropolis volunteers visited 28 children of various ages between 6 and 18 years old.

For this purpose, volunteers used the book “The Little Prince”, and developed related activities including a review of what was read with the help of printed images of the characters.

At the end of the day, the children and volunteers shared some treats with the children. There were beautiful moments of joy and enthusiasm.
