Talk on Valentine’s Day (Honduras)

Cultural Activities

Inspired by the teachings of the classical philosophers Plato and Aristotle, participants explored the depths of love and friendship from a philosophical perspective.

Plato, with his concept of love as a yearning for beauty and perfection, inspired discussions on the nature of desire and the search for the ideal in human relationships. On the other hand, Aristotle, with his vision of friendship as an essential virtue for a full life, generated reflections on the importance of trust, respect and companionship in our interpersonal connections.

The talk was not only an opportunity to reflect on the deeper meaning of love and friendship, but also to strengthen community bonds and celebrate the timeless wisdom of philosophy in our modern lives.
