Members and friends of New Acropolis Villach took advantage of the longest night of the year to have a contemplative experience in the silence of a winter night. Illuminated by the glow of torches, all participants went on a hike looking for the bright moments of the past year, for their insights and victories. Up at the summit near an old Roman settlement, they were able to look at the city from a little distance, just as this reflection task allowed them to look at their own lives from a little distance to gain a renewed personal focus for the new year.
