On the occasion of World Philosophy Day, New Acropolis in Zagreb organized a lecture by Erich Fromm, The Art of Love.

Is love an art? If it is, it requires knowledge and effort. Or is love a pleasant feeling that is born by chance, something that “takes over” a person if he is lucky? Like the book, the lecture was based on the first assumption, although today a large number of people undoubtedly believe in the second.

Fromm’s teaching about love as an art, as a noble feeling that awakens in man the need to get to know himself, attracted the interest of many visitors.
