Among ancient stones, new perspectives emerged (Albania)
Members of New Acropolis Vlora visited Amantia, the ancient Illyrian city perched on the hills above Vlora. Walking through the old stadium, temple remains, and city walls, participants experienced the site not only as an archaeological treasure, but as a quiet space for reflection.
Moments of shared dialogue alternated with thoughtful silence. The group explored themes of courage, identity, and the timeless human search for meaning—guided by the silent presence of history surrounding them.
The visit concluded with an open exchange of ideas, where myths, history, and personal insights blended naturally. More than a simple excursion, the experience became a reminder that philosophy is alive wherever human beings seek depth and connection.
Sometimes, ancient places help us rediscover our inner foundations.
