Volunteers of the New Acropolis in Bosnia and Herzegovina marked International Mother Earth Day 2025 with two events.

In the clean-up campaign of the national monument park (Vraca Memorial Park, Sarajevo), plastic and other waste were collected. With great enthusiasm, more than 20 bags of waste were piled up, and the city utility company »KJKP Rad« supported the campaign by transporting the collected waste.

The second event, entitled “Being with Nature”, took place in the vicinity of the city of Konjic, on the slopes of a mountain. Participants enjoyed the workshop “What can we learn from trees”, planting trees and sorting seeds, and also experienced a time of observing and being with nature in silence.
