Day of the Arts (Dublin – Cork, Ireland)

Day of Arts
For this year’s International Day of the Arts, we celebrated the love and search for Beauty with practical workshops and interactive talks. It was a hotter and sunnier day than usual for Ireland, but it didn’t deter the eager participants for the workshops to join and discover more about the ancient art of creating a mandala, making a mosaic or dancing.
We also created a joint art work with all attendees who liked to join in, either for a few minutes or a few hours. We painted (by numbers) the mysterious Beauty, Venus by Botticelli, and Mont Sainte-Victoire and the Viaduct of the Arc River Valley by Cézanne. The day finished with a talk on Mandalas and musical listening of the timeless music of Beethoven and Mozart.
