A philosophical journey through history and art

Students from different levels of philosophy courses at New Acropolis Santiago participated in an enriching cultural outing to the National Museum of Fine Arts. The activity, organised by the Santiago branch, allowed the participants to explore the history, aesthetics and symbolism of the works on display, in an atmosphere of learning and reflection.

The day began with a tour of the building, where participants appreciated the architectural beauty of the museum and learned about its history and cultural impact. Then, upon entering, they entered the sculpture collection of the permanent exhibition, observing each work with an attentive and contemplative gaze.

Under the expert guidance of Prof. Joshua Ramirez, attendees were able to discuss the historical context of each piece and develop a deeper artistic appreciation. Contemplation and dialogue were the main protagonists of the experience, allowing participants to connect with philosophy through art and understand the timeless value of beauty in human expression. Thank you all for participating in this inspiring cultural journey!
