From Dream to Reality: New Acropolis Celebrates Arts Day in Restored Haifa Garden (Israel)
New Acropolis volunteers celebrated the International Day of the Arts in a beautifully restored city-center garden, an event that was itself the realization of a shared dream. For six months, volunteers, in collaboration with the municipality and local businesses, worked to transform the neglected space into a garden with a stage, terraces and a recreation area.
The theme of the Arts day was a question posed to all attendees: “And what if? What do I dream about?” This central idea was the very heart of the celebration, as it was the same question that inspired the garden’s restoration. The artistic performances—including a soulful musical concert, powerful poetry readings, and a series of unique visual art installations—were all dedicated to this theme. Notably, the dynamic dance acts brought visual plastic artworks to life, creating a powerful dialogue between different art forms and encouraging guests to reflect on their own aspirations and dreams.
The celebration, attended by approximately 400 people, was filled with joy, warmth, and a sense of shared purpose. The event demonstrated that by coming together and dedicating ourselves to a common dream, we can transform not only a physical space but also our community.
