Hearts and Hands Unite for Nature (Israel)
New Acropolis volunteers gathered for a meaningful cleanup at the Naaman Stream, combining environmental care with spiritual growth. The group focused on mindful cleaning – both of the picnic area around the stream and their own thoughts, avoiding criticism of those who left the trash while restoring natural beauty.
The day culminated in a shared picnic where participants connected through heartfelt discussions about their connections with nature, from flowing waters to swaying trees. We asked ourselves: What is the most beautiful thing in nature for me? This combination of cleaning up a favorite vacation spot for many volunteers and internal reflection left everyone feeling refreshed and connected.
The clean area around the stream now welcomes visitors to enjoy its natural charm, proving that community spirit and positive volunteer action can transform both places and volunteers.
