Micro-talks-colloquium: Characters… Which one is yours? (Bilbao, Spain)
Two Micro Talks-Colloquiums were held in the Atenea hall of the New Acropolis Bilbao headquarters, where several speakers talked about different human traits. At some point in life it could be that people are inclined towards one of these tendencies or work with one of these virtues:
Generous: one who does things with the good of others in mind, without expecting reward. The less one needs, the more one can give.
Stupid: one who lacks intelligence, who thinks he is right and blames others. It is a trait that is usually involuntary and is widespread today.
Depressive: one who is melancholic, sad, with restlessness, lacking interest in life. By getting to know oneself better, one will discover the aspects that can be corrected and thus overcome.
Prudent: one who is in control of one’s words and actions. He has learned to deliberate in order to make the right decisions, valuing reality as it is and distinguishing the good from the bad. It is related to wisdom and life experience.
Brave: one who faces up to problems and solves them. He has high ideals, is faithful to his principles and puts duty before personal interests.
Talkative: one who talks and talks without control or balance. He does it very fast, with quick and short breaths so as not to lose the time, he does not keep silent.
Pessimist: one who anticipates failure and disaster at every turn, which is the perfect excuse for not trying to change. The key is to seek the balance that would be found in objectivity. A sense of humour always helps.
Vain: one who loves only himself, regardless of others. He needs ostentation and to be always the protagonist, he seeks the admiration of others. Humility would help to overcome this tendency and would help to advance personal development.
In the discussion, it was reflected upon and concluded that it is important to recognise and work on these aspects of the personality in order to live in a healthier and more positive way.
