Mother Earth Day (Constanța, Romania)

Mother Earth Day

The New Acropolis in Constanța joined the events dedicated to Earth Day, collaborating with NGOs in the field of environmental protection.

The volunteers of the New Acropolis Constanța enthusiastically contributed, along with other citizens, to the planting action organized by the NGO “Plant in Romania” in the village of Cumpăna, Constanța County. Approximately 5,000 ash, willow and hibiscus seedlings were planted on an area of 4,500 square meters with the aim of creating a border between the area of an industrial park and the area of animal farms. The sunny weather supported the efforts of the participants in the action to create a “greener” future.

On Sunday, April 27, the New Acropolis of Constanta organized the conference entitled “The Intelligence of Nature”, inviting the public to take a new look on the natural realities that we are seeing daily. Starting from the life of the minerals, to the plants and animals, we rediscovered the intelligent engineering of nature, but also the ability to bind and connect beings for a common purpose. It is also up to us, human beings, to (re)find our place in the heart of nature and fulfill our specific evolutionary path.

The events were an opportunity to stop from the daily rush, to reflect – in order to act more harmoniously in relation to the whole of nature. We directly experienced the beauty of the landscapes and the joy of doing useful work together.
