Neighboring Beach Cleanup (Chicago, USA)
Members and volunteers of New Acropolis Chicago gathered in collaboration with the Alliance for the Great Lakes for a beach cleanup at Foster Beach!
With the help of dedicated volunteers, we picked up litter, enjoyed the fresh air, and made a positive impact on our environment. The beach may have seemed clean at first sight but we gathered almost 60lbs of trash, including a ton of cigarette butts, some jackets, and even a fresh new trowel!
