Members of New Acropolis Olomouc made over 200 notebooks for the participants of the conference “Okno do onko” (Window to oncology). All the notebooks were handmade by the volunteers and included quotes about happiness – thus being called Notebooks of Joy. All work was done with maximum concentration and carefully – it was a work that brings us joy and inner peace knowing it is for the good cause. Finished notebooks were then presented to the ambassador for oncologic patients of the Olomouc University Hospital Věra Zukalová, who is also the founder of organization Dobré místo pro život (Good Place for Life), that unites volunteers willing to spend their free time helping vulnerable and disadvantaged people in Olomouc.
