Philosophy Day 2025. Workshop of Mutual Understanding (Russia-North, Veliky Novgorod)
It was dedicated to the art of hearing and being heard, not only being understood, but also learning to understand others.
At first, the participants figured out the reasons why our dialogues often turn into “parallel monologues” and we feel separated from other people. We explored how “me” and “you” can find a common language, while staying different.
In the second part, theory gave way to practice — philosophical games. Through an engaging game format, participants learned to better understand not only their interlocutors but also themselves, and explored how relationships are built — with oneself, with the world, and with other people.
The workshop helped us see how philosophy reveals the laws of life and human relationships so we can find a path to harmony with ourselves and others.
