Plato’s philosophy with a glass of wine (Bulgaria)
In mid-November we celebrated World Philosophy Day with a glass of wine and with Plato and his archetypes of Goodness, Beauty and Justice. We recalled that Plato’s Academy aimed to shape character and awaken the soul – the same goal we pursue today in our school of philosophy.
The second part of the event was practical and social. With a glass of red wine in hand – just like our Greek ancestors, we held an interactive discussion on Justice and its real-life application. Participants took roles as lawyers, prosecutors, and judges in a case study, followed by a reflection on our inner “tribunals” and the need for true intelligence and objectivity.
We concluded with a wish to strengthen the Good, nurture inner Beauty, and act in harmony with Justice.
Long live Philosophy!
