Raphael Sanzio’s School of Athens is a masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance. Located in the Stanza della Signatura of the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican, this work is a humanistic tribute to the great figures of Western philosophy. This video analyses the work from a compositional point of view and describes the most significant characters that appear in it.
