Seven Days of Spirit: New Acropolis Builds a “Sukkah of Unity” (Israel, Pardes Hanna)
During the recent Sukkot holiday, the New Acropolis philosophical school in Pardes Hanna opened its doors for a unique seven-day event themed “Seven Days of Spirit – Let’s sit together”. The primary goal was to create a space that embodies the spirit of “Bringing Hearts Closer,” focusing on connection, hope, and philosophical exchange.
The guiding principle for the entire week was to create an environment dedicated to listening, connection, and brotherhood, offering a place for deep reflection and creative expression.
The program was diverse and encouraged active participation:
- Lectures and philosophical discussions often take place informally over beer around a bonfire.
- Hands-on art and writing workshops.
- Musical performances, including a special Open Mic night featuring local artists.
The events drew 190 attendees. Participants experienced a “wealth of depth, creativity, and inspiration,” confirming the power of philosophy to strengthen unity and inspire action. The success of the event demonstrated the power of using philosophy and shared human experience to foster unity and inspire collective action toward a better future.
