The Day of Art was celebrated in New Acropolis’s space in Belgrade with a lecture titled “Theatre of Mystery in Ancient Greece” and a workshop in which participants, divided into several groups, discussed the tragedies of Aeschylus and Sophocles and their pedagogical function. The evening dedicated to art concluded with a performance of “The Myth of Demeter and Persephone” by volunteers from New Acropolis. In this way, the mystery of the human soul was once again touched upon, through the renewal that is essential for both nature and every human being.
