New Acropolis held a moving social volunteering day at the Hogar San Francisco de Asís nursing home in Santo Domingo, sharing moments of joy and affection with nearly a hundred residents at the centre.

During the visit, volunteers offered a nutritious and healthy snack, organised recreational activities and games, shared music that evoked happy memories and, above all, provided company and attentive listening in an atmosphere of respect and human warmth.

In addition, 80 personal hygiene kits were delivered as a concrete gesture of support for the daily needs of the home’s residents.

Each encounter like this reaffirms that small acts of kindness can have a big impact on the lives of those who need it most.
