World Philosophy Day 2025 (Novi Sad, Serbia)

World Philosophy Day

With the aim of promoting philosophy and the central idea of this year’s event—“Unity through Diversity”—volunteers of New Acropolis in Novi Sad organized a series of events throughout November.

On November 12, a lecture titled “The Return of the Stoics: Stability in an Unstable World” was held, accompanied by a workshop in which participants had the opportunity to explore the value of ancient Stoic maxims as possible responses to the challenges faced by contemporary individuals and society.

The program continued on November 16 at the OPENS Student Center with the lecture and workshop “Zeus – Thor – Perun.” The discussion focused on universal laws of nature conveyed through different mythological traditions. After the lecture, participants exchanged views and reflected on various aspects of the will through which human beings express themselves.

On Thursday, November 20, a lecture titled “Philosophy for Life” was held, presenting the path of human development through Philosophy in a classical manner.

With this event, the November program of World Philosophy Day 2025 was concluded, dedicated to bringing philosophy closer to the modern individual and encouraging the search for universal values of all times and cultures that continue to connect us today.
