Humanitarian campaign “What all fits in a shoe box?” (Bosnia and Herzegovina)

Social Volunteering

On the occasion of International Volunteer Day and the New Year’s gifting tradition, New Acropolis Sarajevo organized for the third time the humanitarian campaign “What All Fits in a Shoebox?”, dedicated to children from socially disadvantaged families.

During December, members-volunteers from New Acropolis Sarajevo, together with volunteers of the Red Cross Konjic and with the support of the Center for Social Work, distributed gift packages to more than ninety children from Konjic. The gathering was enriched with music, drawing, origami and greeting card workshops, and, of course, a v

isit from Santa Claus.

The campaign received a warm response from fellow citizens, many of whom generously donated and packed gifts with the wish to bring moments of joy, warmth, and play into the children’s lives. Each shoebox became a small symbol of solidarity – proof that even simple gestures, when filled with care and imagination, can create unforgettable memories.
