Illyrian tales and the art of pottery: A journey to the roots (Tirana, Albania)
The New Acropolis center in Tirana recently organized an event titled “Illyrian Tales and the Art of Pottery,” which served as a unique journey toward discovering Albanian national roots. During this gathering, participants were introduced to the rich history and ancient traces that the Illyrian civilization has left within the country’s cultural heritage.
Beyond the theoretical aspect, the activity offered a practical space where the ancient art of pottery was brought back to life through clay working. This initiative aimed to encourage reflection on historical identity, transforming learning about the past into a concrete artistic experience.
In this context, the importance of preserving the symbols and traditions that have shaped Albanian culture over the centuries was emphasized. The event concluded as a successful fusion of history and art, leaving a lasting impression regarding national values.
