New Acropolis in Belgrade organized a lecture and a workshop on Japanese tradition in collaboration with Margareta Samoran, professor of Japanese language. The audience was able to discover that, for the man of the Far East, nature is a great harmonious unity inhabited by the Kami, invisible beings that manifest themselves through the forces of nature, rivers, trees, mountains, and many other things. Their ancient religion, Shinto – or the Way of the Kami – teaches man purity and life in harmony with nature. In the workshop, there was a dialogue about what we can learn from the symbols taken from nature. This very well-attended event attracted great public interest, which bears witness to the relevance of these values in today’s world.
