MOMO: Time and the fight against oblivion (Medellín, Colombia)
Where does time go when no one truly lives it?
This question resonated deep in the hearts of those who attended the presentation of MOMO: Time and the Fight Against Oblivion, a play that, beyond entertaining, managed to stop time… at least for a moment.
Inspired by Michael Ende’s famous novel, this production by the Apolo Theatre Group, part of the New Acropolis Philosophy School of Northwest Colombia, took us by the hand through a story that, although fantastical, touches on very real issues: the value of time, true friendship, deep listening and resistance to oblivion in a world that seems to be moving ever faster.
For two nights, the theatre became a space for pause and meaning.
Momo reminded us that living is more than running, and that the most valuable time is that which is shared with the heart present.
Thank you to everyone who experienced it with us.
The message lives on.
