The Agora Cultural Outings Circle organised the film club around the film ‘Romeo and Juliet’ by director Franco Zeffirelli. This film is the most faithful adaptation of Shakespeare’s tragedy.

We talked about the historical context, teachings and curiosities of this romantic film classic.

Soon, we will complete the trilogy with film clubs of two other films based on works by William Shakespeare: Othello and Hamlet .

In this way we contribute to generating audiences who appreciate the beauty of the seventh art, in the light of philosophy.
