The poetic gaze is a podcast that aims to disseminate poetry and approach it from a different perspective, where beyond the poet’s gaze, it is about looking for poetry in life and in nature.

On the occasion of the 67th anniversary of the death of Gabriela Mistral (pseudonym of Lucila Godoy Alcayaga), we discover an extraordinary woman, daughter of parents of Spanish and Basque descent, born in 1889 in Chile and died in 1957 in the United States.

She was a poet, diplomat and teacher. She was the author of notable works of Latin American literature, such as ‘Tala’, ‘Desolación’ and ‘Lagar’.She also won the Nobel Prize for literature in 1945.

In this podcast we present one of his most inspiring poems that encourages the human being, who is an integral part of nature, to feel the need, the honour and the pleasure of being at its service. His words are stimulating to make the true essence blossom.
