Summer in Maribor would not be as joyous without annual festival Lent. And it is always a special opportunity for our school to take part in it, as the city park becomes full of music, colourful exhibitions and activities for the young.   

Every year we present to the curious visitors our project “Happy Physics” in which we try to help them understand why and how some of the most interesting natural phenomena occurs. Every experiment tells a story and teaches a lesson, not only in science, but also in life. The main theme this year was energy. 

It was nice meeting new faces and see a spark in the eyes of our last year’s acquaintances, who had less trouble watching upon our tables – because they’ve grown! Their enthusiastic gazes are like the fruits of summer, that keep us fulfilled during winter, until we meet again.
