The New Acropolis Zadar marked World Philosophy Day with the lecture “Socrates – Be Yourself and Universal”.

Through the life example of the Greek philosopher Socrates, who showed us how an authentic person lives, and that every person can achieve this, visitors gained a clearer insight into what it means to be yourself.

This philosophical concept, in its essence, refers to gaining awareness of oneself. Some of the life examples that Socrates left us are knowing oneself, being authentic, and having healthy criteria that do not depend on others or external circumstances but are the result of maturation based on consciously collected experiences.
