The participants of the practical philosophy course of the Veszprém Centre of New Acropolis Hungary organized a tree planting event in a green area of the city. The action was supported by the city council, one of whose representatives took part in the tree planting.

The representative of the local New Acropolis introduced the event emphasizing volunteering as a practical application of philosophy, after which the spades, shovels and pickaxes were quickly grabbed to dig the holes. As soon as the Japanese cherry trees and maple trees were put in the ground, volunteers made sure that the trees planted last year were given new soil plates.

The participants enjoyed the results of their work with a merry picnic.
