4th edition of the Campo Aeneas (Ladispoli, Italy)

Educational Activities

Around twenty young volunteers took part in this IV edition in the Etruscan town of Cerveteri.

This camp offers emergency training to the volunteers, in an area that is gradually being set up for this purpose.

Setting up and spending the night in tents, first aid exercises, creation of small improvised infrastructures with recycled materials (field kitchens, utensil washing stations, emergency showers, etc.), were some of the activities carried out.

Spirit of adaptation, adventure and sharing are some of the key words of  the ‘Aeneas Camp’ in its fourth consecutive year.

A lesson in applied philosophy was given on the virtues that promote stability in times of crisis: serenity, imagination, creativity and initiative. Virtues that came into play during a night-time search and rescue exercise and various agricultural activities carried out as a team.

The last evening was marked by the presentation of certificates to the young participants at the end of the volunteer training course.
