New Acropolis Dominican Republic celebrated its 26th anniversary of commitment to society with an excursion to the Caves of Wonders in San Pedro de Macoris. The event was attended by almost a hundred people, including members of the organization, family members and a delegation of Acropolitans from Costa Rica. During the day, participants enjoyed a day full of culture and nature, with activities that highlighted the link between mythology and nature. One of the most special moments was the tour of the Labyrinth of the Caves, where participants took part in activities inspired by the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur, thus promoting an educational and cultural experience for all ages.

With great enthusiasm, the participants enjoyed each activity, highlighting the importance of education and the transmission of values in a family environment. In its 26 years of work in the country, New Acropolis Dominicana has been a benchmark in values education and personal development, organising multiple volunteer initiatives in favour of society. This excursion reaffirms the organisation’s commitment to the promotion of culture, philosophy and community service, in line with its mission to build a more humane and caring society.
