Earth Day Celebration Unites Nature and Community Spirit (Israel)

Mother Earth Day

New Acropolis volunteers marked Earth Day with a series of environmental and cultural activities. The event featured workshops on eco-friendly innovations, including mushroom-based plastic alternatives and bird nesting box construction, and writing sessions exploring human-nature connections.

The day’s environmental impact included planting 50 trees to complete the Food Forest project and conducting a Jordan River cleanup operation. Each planted tree received a ceremonial blessing, reflecting the event’s blend of practical action and spiritual significance.

A musical performance featuring members from multiple branches concluded the celebration, emphasizing the community’s unity in environmental stewardship and cultural expression.
