This course offers comprehensive and structured training in the philosophy of science. Unlike other courses or workshops on the same subject, it combines knowledge of science, ethics, and philosophy. In addition to addressing the methods, justification and structure of scientific knowledge, the course deals with the ontological and metaphysical foundations of scientific theories, addressing problems of the epistemology of science, such as the justification of scientific theories, induction and falsification, the theory of confirmation and the demarcation between science and pseudoscience.
