Prague through the eyes of a philosopher (Czech Republic)

Day of Arts

New Acropolis organized a walk around the most beautiful places in Prague as a part of the Day of Arts celebrations. All the places the participants visited were connected by a common theme: “searching for the truth”. Participants met with the legendary princess Libuše, who inspired them with a prophecy. At one of the ends of the Charles Bridge they met with Jan Werich and legendary knight Bruncvík, who told them about courage necessary to find the truth. Near the Bethlehem Chapel through the quotes by reformer Jan Hus they learnt about the necessity to protect the truth. At the end of the entire journey the participants went to Franciscan Garden and listened to the music by a Franciscan composer Bohuslav Matěj Černohorský. The garden also taught them about searching for truth – the truth you can find through your connection with the nature.
