A large group of volunteers from Nicaragua, El Salvador and Honduras, with the guidance of archaeologist Carlos Aragón, current director of New Acropolis in San Pedro Sula, carried out a cultural trip to the ruins of Copan, archaeological site of the ancient Mayan civilization located in the Department of Copán, West of Honduras, a short distance from the border with Guatemala. The promotion of culture is a fundamental axis of action for the rehabilitation of values in the program of New Acropolis.
