Circle of Friends of New Acropolis: ‘Art that unites’ (Lima-Headquarters, Peru)

Artistic Activities

A special day with the Circle of Friends of New Acropolis – Lima, in the activity ‘Art that Unites’, a space where art became a bridge to connect, reflect and grow together.

Through the recitation of a poem and a story, the door was opened to a profound reflection on life, the challenges we face and the capacity that every human being has to learn and grow stronger even in the midst of adversity. Art, in this context, was not only an aesthetic expression, but a way to awaken values, ideals and a higher vision of ourselves.

With creativity and collective work, different works laden with symbolism took shape: a collective image of Don Quixote, as an emblem of ideals and courage; a mural full of flowers of values, with the word Volunteering shining in the centre, reminding us of the transformative power of will and generosity; and a collage representing the strength and freedom of the eagle, with its wings spread not only as a symbol of flight, but also as an evocation of transcendence—that inner impulse that lifts us above our limitations and invites us to unfold the best of our nature.

The activity not only left visible works, but also an inner mark. It was a moment of encounter between art and philosophy, where beauty and deep thought came together to remind us that when we cultivate the best in ourselves, we can also inspire transformation around us.
