Lecture: Man’s relationship with time, inspired by the stoics (Timisoara, Romania)
To conclude our trilogy of lectures, on the topic of “Applied philosophy for a better life”, hosted at the Arad “Museum Complex”, New Acropolis Timisoara tackled the topic of “Man’s relationship with time, inspired by the stoics”. The reflections on this fascinating topic were deemed so necessary by the public, considering the fast pace and restlessness of everyday life. We learned together that by living with more self-awareness we could establish a healthier rapport towards the implacable passing of time. References to Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius and Seneca left everyone in attendance with a much-needed sense of daring.
