Editorial News

The previously unpublished book by Jorge Ángel Livraga, The Adventures of the Magician Kandh Akah (“Las aventuras del mago Kandh Akah”), has just been released by Nueva Acrópolis Publishing in both Spanish and Portuguese. This edition is an initiative of International President Carlos Adelantado Puchal, marking the lead-up to the 70th anniversary of Nueva Acrópolis worldwide, which will be celebrated in 2027.

The book is a compilation of 35 stories written during the author’s youth and originally published between 1960 and 1972 in the issues of a magazine circulating at the time. These are tales of adventure and magic that approach esoteric philosophy with seriousness and a moral foundation; they not only present the existence of an invisible reality but also offer a practical perspective for understanding—and adopting the right attitude toward—Life and its Laws across all planes of existence. The Spanish edition is available in both physical and digital (e-book) formats. The Portuguese edition is currently available in print, with a digital version coming soon to ensure easier access for readers.

This publication coincides with the relaunch of Jorge Ángel Livraga’s entire body of work—now presented as a unified collection—in celebration of the 70th anniversary of Nueva Acrópolis International. The collection includes the following titles:

  • Ankor, the Disciple
  • The Alchemist
  • Moassy, the Dog
  • The Elemental Spirits of Nature
  • Thebes
  • Mystery Theater in Greece: Tragedy
  • The Adventures of the Magician Kandh Akah
  • Lectures
  • Newspaper Articles

In addition to making it possible for philosophy to reach an ever-growing number of people, the launch of the collection reaffirms an ongoing commitment to awakening the best in every human being through books and reading, thereby building a more conscious, intentional, and happy society.
