Uninterrupted reading of Don Quixote (Alicante, Spain)
For a 13th year, an event was held of uninterrupted reading of the immortal work Don Quixote to commemorate World Book Day. A walk through the experiences, adventures and misadventures of our famous Hidalgo resonated in the events hall of New Acropolis Alicante.
At the end of the reading, in honor of the gluttonous Sancho Panza, the traditional tasting of typical manchego dishes mentioned in the work was held: Duels and heartbreaks, moje, pisto manchego, atascaburras, gazpachos, migas – which were the novelty of this edition –, and the sweet torrijas. All these delicious dishes irrigated by a traditional wine of La Mancha.
