The ‘Awakening Smiles’ project of New Acropolis Barcelona prepared a theater and dance performance ‘The night of the muses’ for the residents of the Cottolengo del Padre Alegre in Barcelona.

New Acropolis Barcelona has been collaborating for years with this Center with the delivery of food donations collected every Saturday at the Mercat de la Llibertat in Gracia, as part of another volunteer project, the Mercat Solidari.

The ‘Awakening Smiles’ project seeks to bring art and beauty to residences, orphanages and places where people with difficulties of any kind are housed. Through theatrical, dance and Chinese shadow performances, pleasant times are shared to convey values such as joy and enthusiasm.
