The lecture “Leonidas ante portas”, carry out in the Leuven branch of New Acropolis, introduced the audience into the fascinating yet confronting world of the Spartans.

Leonidas as example of heroism seems widely known, during this conference we looked deeper into the human values fostered by the culture of the Spartans, with all their shine and shadows. The presentation also made the bridge to today and offered a vision on how we could translate certain aspects to become more active citizens supporting society and our environment.
