Philosophical trekking in Lisbon (Portugal)

Cultural Activities

“Philosophical trekking” was the innovative activity offered by the New Acropolis Cultural Association in Lisbon recently. Under the title “Cape Espichel: walking the paths of Finisterre”, the route combined a traditional trek with literature and philosophy. For this occasion the discussions revolved around the work “Ankor, Prince of Atlantis” by the writer and philosopher Jorge Ángel Livraga – with the result that the sea was always the focus of attention for the whole journey. This new form of trekking already has a large group of sympathizers, who in addition were able to admire the area of dinosaur footprints near Cape Espichel on the Setúbal peninsula.
