In collaboration with the Kabir community, New Acropolis Mumbai invited Kaluram Ji Bamaniya to enjoy an evening of the mysticism of the Bhakti poets. Kaluram Ji directs the Bairaag Kabir Lok-Bhajan Mandal and was born into a family of singers who have been singing the verses of Kabir, Gorakhnath and Meeras for generations. For Kaluram Ji, singing is much more than a profession, his music and the words of poets have become his way of life. His immersion in the spirit of the words is clearly reflected in the beautiful way he recites them. This popular celebration of the Bhakti tradition was warmly received by the audience.
