In May, volunteers from New Acropolis Honduras carried out an Oral Hygiene Campaign at the Maximiliano Sagastume School, Sagastume District, where more than 70 children of between 5-12 years old received checkups.
A talk about cavities and how to avoid them and how to brush teeth was also organized for them. Before going to the dental team that awaited them in another room of the school, the children were given basic oral hygiene packages. The team explained to the parents present the condition of their children’s teeth and gave them specific recommendations for each case.
